Where to find Beauty ~

Bonjour ~~~

Paris ~ A beautiful place
Parisians ~ Beautiful People

Heaven ~ A beautiful place
Jesus ~ Beautiful Savior

Psalm 27:4

4 One thing I ask from the Lord,
this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the LORD
and to seek him in his temple.

Do you like to experiment with new beauty products?  I do but sometimes I am overwhelmed by all the products to pick from, sometimes, I won't even buy anything because I just do not know what to pick or I am trying to find something new to try, and there again, I struggle deciding which product to  purchase. Then I wonder if the product will work and how will it look on me, is it the right color, and on and on.  I decided to "look into the beauty of the Parisians" and try to find which products they use and maybe even recommend.  To me, the word "PARIS" sounds so beautiful, although, I have never been there, I figured I could at least explore the word "Paris" and "Parisians" to try and see beauty from their eyes.

~ Thank you Jesus for letting one See that true beauty lies within ~

~ Beauty Tips ~

 Makeup removal is required

Soap is never used on the face

&

Retouching the makeup is pursued as needed

Here is an example of a product Parisians like to use to remove their makeup

Another example, is  the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream

Apparently this product is
"a legendary treatment by Parisians"

Oh la la, Chanel lip gloss is preferred and used because it looks fresher than ordinary lipstick ~

Parisian like the Serge Lutens eye shadow, as seen below ~

the texture of the it melts away like magic on the skin ~

Below is  the terracotta moisturizing tan power from Guerlain; a favorite of Parisians,
I actually was shopping at TJMAXX the other day and found this product there!  Yes, I bought it and now I feel like a Parisian !

Guerlain mascara is used on the top lashes only ~

At bedtime, Dior's apricot nail cream can be applied to keep those cuticles moisturized perfectly.

(I certainly could use this )~~

For perfume, Parisians prefer older, classic brands.

It is desirable to apply the perfume to the body's best scent areas such as the neck, wrists, and the ankles and behind the knees too.

For lifelong beauty ~

~ smell nice ~

~Smile ~

~ Be Giving ~

~ Be passionate ~

~ Make the most of every day ~

~ Praise The Lord ~

Proverbs 31:30

New International Version (NIV)
30   Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;

but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

Bisous, et que Notre Seigneur Jesus Christ te benisse ~
Kisses, and may the Lord Jesus Christ bless You ~

Thank you Anita at Castles Crown and Cottages for inviting me to your Paris Party ~ Such a beautiful idea!

  3. What a nice reminder for us all that true beauty is within us. It looks like the Parisians make-up is similar to ours. I have used the same brand of make up for years. It is from Macy's and it is called Clinique. It has worked well for me, so I haven't changed. I realled like the green perfume bottle. I would love that Paris perfume on my dresser. I am off to look at a few more lovelies, but just wanted to say hello to my new sweet friend.

  4. Bonjour Michele!
So happy to have a fellow believer join in Anita's Paris Party!!! Nice to read about these beauty products, too. Yes, the French do know how to make cosmetics, and I can ONLY wear French perfume made in "the old way" [ not with synthetic alcohol], due to my allergies. Here is a link to another French product that many are raving about :http://www.amazon.com/Nuxe-Huile-Prodigieuse-Multi-Usage/dp/B000R92WNC/ref=sr_1_1?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1339189161&sr=1-1
God's blessings on you, too, sister!

I have great skin at 42 and most people thinks I am in my 30's. I tell is of course a combination of eating well, been happy and only using handmade goatsmilk cosmetics. Come see on my blog if you are interested. I have a link to my farm products and you can read up about it, or just come for the party !

  16. Thoughtful words and makeup are an unusual combination –– you make it seem terribly natural. Here's hoping you get to Paris. The churches are astonishing. Notre Dame smells like 1000 years of incense... the first impression never leaves you. Thanks to ANita for bringing us all together.
